It’s the greatest time of the year. Luckily, you have the whole city to explore before the temperature drops. So let’s get in all the festive activities we possibly can. We can’t think of anything better than checking these five activities off our list this holiday season in NYC!

Apple & Pumpkin Picking

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN apple pick in the city. Where? Farmers Markets are our absolute favorite, when it comes to getting in the spirit. Stroll up to all the local stands and fill your basket up with granny smith apples, pumpkins, maybe an apple cider and some fresh produce to bring back to your cozy home.

Walk in the Park

You might want to act fast on this one. Have you seen anything prettier than the leaves changing colors in Central Park or any park at that matter?! It’s amazing and truly inspiring for all of us city-goers who love being around nature to take advantage of our neighborhoods any time we get!

MoMA Fridays

No matter the season, the MoMA is always a good idea. This indoor activity keeps you toasty and exposes yourself to art in so many forms. When leaving museums, you feel like you learned something new, something weird, and something exciting that you can apply to your life. MoMA Fridays are your best friend. From 5:30pm-9pm, tickets are free!

A Day at Botanic Gardens

This iconic living museum is a staple in the fall. The landscapes are outstanding and capture the beauty of the season at its most perfect state. This is an activity that never goes out of style and is constantly a breath of fresh (and a little brisk) air.

Thrift Shopping

Some may consider this a hobby, a sport even. During fall, it’s game time for thrifting. Vintage shopping in NYC is debatably the best place to find those killer finds. Coats, sweaters, denim galore! Favorite stores: L Train Vintage, and Urban Jungle to name a couple.
